STEP 1. Okay, this is going to be the first tutorial that I lay out the steps a little different. I have been getting requests for me to lay out the step lines in an easier way for more complex lessons. To start, draw a circle for Leia's head, and then another for her famous side bun. Next add the facial guidelines and then draw the shape of her arched torso. You will then end this first step by drawing out the outlined shape of her arm, hand, and skirt. STEP 2. Using the guidelines you drew in step one, sketch out the shape of Princess Leia's face. Then begin sketching out the actual side bun, eyes, and nose. As you can see, the step is a lot easier to understand now that the guidelines show you how things should look. STEP 3. Finish sketching out her hair style starting with the top of her head, and then finish sketching out her pretty looking eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth. I love how pretty her face came out. STEP 4. You will really finish sketching out Princess Leia's bun, and then start sketching out her neck, shoulders, upper back arch, and then draw her forearm, hand, sporting blaster pistol, and then sketch out her long loose sleeve. Before you leave this step you will have to detail the pistol, and then add detail and definition to her clothes, hair, and hands. STEP 5. Now this tutorial starts getting easy. You will finish sketching out Leia's sleeve, and then draw the rest of her back shape. Next draw out her belt and have her top loosely hang slightly over her belt. Once that is done you will need to add some crease detailing lines on her skirt, and then detail her belt as you see here. STEP 6. You are really almost done with this Star Wars drawing. All you have to do here is finish sketching out her very loose, long skirt. Add some crease lining for definition and detail, and then move to the next step. STEP 7. Here you will draw Princess Leia's feet, and notice how one foot is arched up as if in a high-heel. Once the feet are done, you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. STEP 8. Here you have a finished drawing from this tutorial that taught you how to draw Princess Leia step by step". Color her in and make Leia look pretty.
